Course

Course Description

The course follows the American River using the Pionerr Express Trail through both the Auburn and Folsom State Recreation areas. The first 23 miles are all trail. The next 8 miles are a mixed trail and bike trail. The last 19 miles are along the American River Parkway. The trail is pave but the shoulder of the bike trail has decomposed granite which you can run on.
